This is the mobile optimized version (m.kavfam.com) of our family web site (the desktop site is limited to family and friends). You arrived here by visiting work.kavfam.com. This site is mostly dedicated to following our children's weekly activities and my musings thereabouts for remote family and friend consumption. This site is hosted from my home in Apex, NC on an old PC (work give away). The site is home grown, mostly since the original web server hardware, another REALLY old work freebie; (RAQ2-MIPS) did not support modern OSs or blogging software. It was an opportunity to toy with developing a PHP based web site (conceived in '03) for my family and friends to share.

I've been working primarily in a test role for 29 years across a variety of technologies and capacities. I love exceeding expectations across an organization (dev, po, qa, support) by finding and helping to fix things so customers are delighted. I am a jack of all trades with areas of expertise in leading QA teams, automation and performance testing.
